Resource Details

To inspire, empower and unite children and communities through education, arts and culture. 1. Visual and Performing Arts Programs for students in PK-12. 2. After School and Summer Programs combine academics, arts, culture and sports, and life skills to engage and educate students. 3. Arts-Integrated Residencies that connect to curriculum. 4. Professional Development for teachers in using the arts to support learning in the classroom. 5.Learning through the Arts- Arts for Learning Lessons is a supplemental literacy curriculum geared for grades 2-6. 5. Early Learning Programs specially designed to encourage early literacy for preschoolers. Students without access to the arts are 45% more likely to drop out than students who are fortunate enough to have the arts included in their education. It is the goal of Young Audiences to ensure that all children have equal access to quality arts in education programs to both improve their academic skills and teach positive life skills that will increase their self esteem and make good choices.
